Yeovil Town Football Club is proud to announce a new sponsorship with leading hygiene products manufacturer Zidac Laboratories. The sponsorship will see Zidac’s logo feature on the club’s shorts for the 2020/21 National League season.
Following the events of this year, the club has placed a strong emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness, with Zidac supplying hand santiser and disinfectant products to be used by players and staff around the stadium facility.
Zidac, which was first established in 2017 as a manufacturer of personal care products, recently released a hospital grade hand sanitiser designed to meet the growing demand for high-performance products to help in the fight against Covid-19.
Mark Robinson at Yeovil Town Football Club said;
“As a club we’re grateful to be able to continue to operate while keeping staff, players and visitors safe here at Huish Park. With help from Zidac, we’ve been able to provide products around the stadium so that once our doors are open to fans, everyone can stay protected from the transmission of Covid 19.
“The sponsorship more than anything means we can keep good hygiene practises front of mind, across the site from all staff through to the players. As a club we are prepared and committed to give our fans a safe environment to return to watch Yeovil Town FC when the government allow.”
Andy Whiting, Sales Director at Zidac Laboratories said:
“It’s very reassuring to see that clubs such as Yeovil Town are taking a proactive approach to keeping its staff and players safe.
“Understandly football fans are keen to experience some normality and see their team perform in person on the stands. By providing hand sanitser throughout the stadium and raising awareness through the sponsorship, when the time comes, we can help the club and its fans stay safe through these uncertain times.”
