Yeovil Town’s Huish Park stadium played host to hundreds of primary school children earlier this week as more than twenty schools sent pupils on a cross country run around the site.
The move, designed to give the youngsters a new and interesting variance on their physical education module, saw more than three hundred 7-11 year olds run the entire perimeter of the site over the course of several races.
Twenty schools in the area, headed up by Ash primary school headteacher Adam Hawkins, thoroughly enjoyed their session at the stadium which follows similar exercises at the rugby club and Ham Hill Country Park near Stoke-sub-Hamdon.
