The 17-year-old has signed a contract until June 2021 at Huish Park to join fellow Academy product Gabby Rogers in committing their future to the green and whites.
After spending the majority of the campaign so far working under first-team manager Darren Way, Ojo made his senior debut and impressed in the 4-0 Checkatrade Trophy win over West Ham United Under-21s in November.
Daniel has also featured in behind closed doors friendlies with Bristol City and Aston Villa to continue his impressive development.
Commenting on his pro deal, Daniel said: “It’s an honour for me to sign a professional contract and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue improving.
“I’ve loved my time so far at Yeovil and this is the next step in the journey for me. The gaffer has been great with me and it’s time now to repay the faith.
“I’ve got to keep working hard every day and hopefully, get as much game time as possible.”
A second-year scholar at the club, the left-back missed the majority of the 2017/18 season as part of the Under-18s squad due to a delay in gaining EFL clearance, but quickly established himself as an integral part of the Young Glovers defensive unit.
Coming through the ranks at Charlton Athletic, Ojo was snapped up by Town’s Academy and has kept his favourable traits of being honest, down to earth and hard working.
Having worked closely with Ojo all season, manager Darren Way commented: Daniel is a real talent. Watch this space.”
In charge of the next generation of Yeovil Town talent, Academy Manager Jamie Harrison added: “We are all really pleased for Daniel to take this next step in his career. He had a difficult first year as a scholar but his perseverance through adversity has paid off and he fully deserves his first professional contract.
“The great thing about Daniel is that he has already put in some excellent performances this season and I believe that there is still so much more to come if he keeps working hard.
