Bridgwater United Women will return to Huish Park on Sunday 2nd March, to face Bristol Rovers in a FA Women’s National League fixture. This match marks a meaningful homecoming for a team with deep historical ties to the ground from their days as Yeovil Town Ladies.
Originally formed as Yetminster Ladies in 1990, the team evolved through various identities, including Sherborne Ladies and Yeovil Town Ladies, before eventually becoming Bridgwater United. During their time as Yeovil Town Ladies, the club reached the FA Women’s Super League and played key matches at Huish Park, making this return a significant moment in their history.
Kick off is at 3:00 PM, and fans are encouraged to come along and show their support for what is a ‘pay what you want’ fixture.
