The Glovers lost narrowly to Forest Green Rovers last time out at Huish Park, before ending a run of four-straight defeats at Cambridge United last weekend with a 0-0 draw.
Speaking to iFollow Glovers, Browne said: “Even though we lost to Forest Green, we’ve shown a lot of positives in our performances and we’re going in the right direction.
“It’s obviously hard because we feel we deserved the three points and we ended up getting nothing, but we learn from our mistakes.
We left ourselves in a good position to win the game, we just needed to see it through, so we need to learn from what happened.”
Speaking on the team’s efforts to turn recent fortunes around and spark a new run of form, Browne revealed: “Every day we continue to work hard, watch our videos back, learn what we’ve done wrong, and where we need to do better.
“That’s the only thing you can do when things are not going well, there’s no point in turning around and blaming anybody, we need to stick together as a team and keep going.
“I feel like I learned a lot from my first year playing here, especially as a person. I’ve learnt a lot about myself and how to deal with certain situations, like the situation we’re in right now may have been different last year, but now we’re more confident that we can push on and keep going to make it better.”
The Glovers face up against Northampton Town this weekend, a game which the 23-year-old will be hoping to feature in amongst growing competition within the Yeovil ranks.
“This game is very important, the fans deserve to see us win a home game again and we need to get our home form back on track, starting on Saturday.
“I’ve watched a few clips and videos on them [Northampton], we know about their strengths and weaknesses but we’re focusing on what we do best. We don’t worry about the opposition, we come in and have the same mentality before every single game.
“The competition for places is very fierce and it keeps everybody on their toes, wanting to do better. You can’t take a day off, you can’t take an easy ride, you have to perform every game.
“It’s good to know you’ve got that healthy competition behind you, pushing you, and everyone knows that when you come in to the team it’s your time to do what you have to do.”
