The Glovers controlled the match throughout, hitting the crossbar twice, but couldn’t make their dominance count as substitute Alex Nicholls scored late on to give the Bees three points.
The loss ended Yeovil’s eight-match unbeaten run in Sky Bet League Two but Way is confident his squad will bounce back.
He told YTFC’s official YouTube channel: “It’s a game where every supporter will leave the stadium thinking “how did we lose that game?”.
“You’re always disappointed when you lose football matches and I’m disappointed in the manner (of the defeat) because we had so many chances.
“I think they must have had two attacks in the whole of the second half. It happens, that’s football and sometimes life is unfair but you have to deal with that.”
Way added: “I have to make sure the group stay positive, which I’m sure they will. They’re honest players so I don’t have to shout and scream.
“We’re in 10th position and one win will take us back to the play-offs. I want everyone to keep working hard, and keep believing.”
