The Tangerines are winless in their last three league games but have won nine out of 17 games at Bloomfield Road in all competitions this season.
Town will be looking to exact revenge on the Lancashire outfit after their 3-0 win at Huish Park earlier on in the campaign, and Way insists his squad are ready for the test.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.
“I’ve just been on my Pro License with Gary Bowyer so that was interesting spending time with him. He didn’t give much away!
“Blackpool are a big club as far as where they’ve been. They have a bigger squad and probably a much bigger budget than we’ve got.
“Every game we play is a challenge and every game I manage is a big, big challenge but one we’re not fearful of.
“We go there in good spirits because we’re off the back of a win over Reading and a good result against Wycombe.
“We’ve done our homework and have worked hard behind the scenes. We have to we remain positive and stick to our game plan.”
Yeovil earned victory on their last outing at Blackpool thanks to goals from James Hayter and Tom Lawrence in 2014.
Way also has good memories of playing at Bloomfield Road and hopes his knowledge of the stadium will serve his side well.
He said: “We played against them in the Championship which was good.
“I also remember the FA Cup game (2000) Terry Skiverton and I played in, that was a fantastic game on sky where we beat them.
“We played our FA Cup game against Carlisle up at Blackpool and I thought our supporters were magnificent.
“We know the place, the environment and it’s a game we look forward to.”
