The Stags sit in eighth place in Sky Bet League Two having pushed up the table under the guidance of manager Steve Evans.
Meanwhile, the Glovers have endured a frustrating spell of results which has seen them draw on eight occasions in the last 14 games.
Having come away with a cleansheet and a point from the trip to Notts County last weekend, Way is aware of the threat offered by the Stags this evening.
Speaking to YTFC.net, the Town boss said: “They’ve got an aggressive, physical side with plenty of pace and they’ve been winning football matches since Steve Evans took over.
“They’re a big threat, so we have to make sure we build on the performance from Saturday and use these next two home games to get back to winning ways.”
In a bid to pick up three points once again the Glovers switched to a 3-5-2 formation at Meadow Lane, and Way could be tempted to operate with two upfront again against Mansfield at Huish Park.
“I was very pleased with the way the players executed the game plan at Notts County,” he said. “We were up against two strikers with a wealth of experience and we kept them at bay.
“They needed the three points as much as we did, but I thought the way Alex Lacey, Bevis Mugabi and Matt Butcher worked as a trio in defence was brilliant.
“We’re looking for someone to take responsibility further forward now, which hopefully we’ll see tonight.”
