The Glovers head to Rodney Parade looking to extend the gap from the relegation spots to 10 points.
With tough conditions expected, Way told YTFC’s official YouTube channel that every preparation has been made in training.
“There will be plenty of ‘fight balls’ because of the surface of the pitch, which has been talked about all season.
“When you speak to other managers who’ve played on it, they say it becomes a percentage game – we know what we’re coming up against and have prepared very well this week and are ready for the challenge.”
The Green and Whites head to Wales with just five games of the season remaining, and are looking to complete the double over Newport after the 1-0 win at Huish Park back in October.
Way will have the quartet of Alex Lawless, Nathan Smith, Ryan Dickson and Otis Khan at his disposal having all recently returned from injury, something the Town manager sees as a huge bonus.
“When you look at the league experience of some of the players before they came here, it’s pretty scary.
“When you take those players (mentioned above) out of the fold, it only left me with two experienced players, so it’s nice to have those experienced players back.
“They’ve spent a long time in their careers leading from the front and also had success and know what winning is. You can’t buy that winning feeling so it’s good (that they’re back).”
