Speaking ahead of Monday’s National League vote, Glovers chairman Scott Priestnall has issued a further update to supporters.
With play-offs now a viable option, Priestnall reiterated his commitment to playing the 19/20 season to a conclusion via the play-off format.
Regarding the potential fixtures, Priestnall said; “We will vote on a resolution on Monday and we will see what that outcome is. We’re obviously postive towards playing the play-offs.
“Numbers have been branded around and the play-offs could cost between £75,000-£150,000. This club is commited to doing whatever is right for its supporters and players and we will vote accordingly.”
Priestnall also thanked supporters for their unbelievable efforts in raisng over £38,000 via the Crowdfunder campaign – “We are very greatful, as our Yeovil Hospital Charity, who will be recieving 10% of all proceeds. Every penny that we recieve will go into the football club to pay wages and bills.
“We are now also in discussions for a new partnership with the Hospital Charity and I will keep you all informed in that in due course.”
Regarding everyday club matters, Priestnall also stated we are close to announcing ‘two or three new commerical parnertships’, which will no doubt help the club in these difficult times!
Supporters can also expect more information regarding season tickets and tickets purchased for cancelled fixtures within the next week.
Priestnall also issued an update on the club shop. From next week, the online shop will also reopen so all previous orders will begin to be processed. For the phsical shop, that will reopen once it is COVID-19 safe, further communication will follow on that in due course.
