Two sides of the ground have been touched up with non-slip paint to make the stadium easier on the eye and a safer environment for fans on wet days in Somerset.
Bruce James, who was appointed Disabled Liaison Officer (DLO) in April, has taken on the project alongside the Disabled Supporters Association (DSA).
“The steps were in need of re-painting to maintain their non-slip quality,” he told YTFC.net.
“As the DLO, it’s essential to provide a facility that is safe for disabled and normal supporters and non-slip paint helps with this.
“The DSA kindly agreed to oversee this operation and I took it upon myself to advertise for volunteers who have turned up and the work is well under way.
“I would like to thank Pathways for giving us a couple of guys who have been doing a very good job for us and to Sharon and Tracy of the DSA.”
