A group of Yeovil supporters, led by Michael West are leading an appeal to raise funds to clean the grave of club legend Johnny Hayward. The forward, who played for Yeovil over for over 20 years, scored 548 goals for the Glovers, and is recognised to have the second best record for one club, behind Bayern Munich's Gerd Muller. Upon the removal of the pitch covers this morning, the Huish Park pitch is firm in some small patches, however we are confident the surface will be safe to play this afternoon.
