Goals either side of half-time from the Swiss inflicted a first home defeat on the Shaymen, whilst recording a third straight win for the green and whites.
Soaring up to sixth in the National League table, Omotayo told YTTV at full-time: “I’m over the moon to get off the mark and to be able to do that with a brace is crazy, and sit hows what kind of group we have and I think we can get far this season.
“I’ve fallen in love with football again at this club, and to say that after just two games is not just because I’m saying that, it’s because the lads have been brilliant to me and I’ve had a warm welcome from everyone at Yeovil.
“It just shows that if you work hard you can achieve anything, but it’s just the beginning and it’s just another three points on the road.”
Firing home the opener after just five minutes after following in on Myles Hippolyte’s shot that cannoned back off the post, Omotayo made sure of the win with a little over 20 minutes remaining by firing in a loose ball inside the box.
Denied a hat-trick by goalkeeper Sam Johnson in stoppage time, the 25-year-old was still left elated.
“(For the first goal) I saw the defender take his time so I thought ‘I’m going to press him’ and was fortunate and then hit it with the lefty and it went in! I try to train both of my feet and I was confident to take the shot and happy that it went in.
“Last week I got a good connection to it but the defender was there and this week, the connection wasn’t the best but it went in, so I’m just happy we got the three points, the lads have been brilliant but unfortunate I didn’t get the hat-trick but I’ll get there.
“He (Johnson) was brilliant all game but I was surprised myself that I got into that position when the defender gave the ball away there. The goalkeeper made it hard for me and stood tall and although I got a good connection to it, it was a good save but I’m happy though.”
