Yeovil Town youngster Toby Stephens has joined National League South side Hemel Hempstead on a one-month loan deal.

A graduate of the Yeovil Town academy, Toby Stephens has travelled with the squad for the majority of fixtures this season, but has been limited to a limited amount of substitute appearances and Somerset Premier Cup starts.

The 18-year-old will now join the National League South side on a temporary basis, hoping for a consistent run of first team football.

Commenting on the youngsters loan departure, first team manager Darren Sarll said, “Despite our small squad size, I believe it’s fundamental for Toby’s development, that the young man gets some minutes within a first team environment.

“He’s going to be playing one league below us, so it’s a good standard and learning experience for him which we will both reap the rewards from.”
