Yeovil Town are delighted to announce the signing of Sam Pearson on loan from Bristol City on an initial one-month deal.
The exciting attacker is a product of the Bristol City academy, having started his youth career at the club in 2016.
He made his debut for the Robins in March 2021, and has made a total of five apps in the Championship.
Last season, he spent a short loan spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship. He played eight times north of the border, scoring once.
A Wales U21 international, Pearson has made 11 apps for his nation, finding the back of the net against Bulgaria.
“I’m delighted to be here,” said the 20-year-old.“I got a text the other week about coming here, now it’s about trying to play in as many games as I can and helping the team progress.
“The first time I spoke to the manager was yesterday, he called me when I was having my haircut! He sounds nice and willing to help me progress, so that’s why I’m here!”
Manager Chris Hargreaves added, “Sam is an exciting young player who adds a new element to our squad.
“He comes from a strong background at Bristol City and already has first team experience under his belt.”
Welcome to Somerset, Sam.
