Yeovil Town are delighted to announce the signing of Ollie Hulbert on a free transfer.
After departing Bristol Rovers at the end of last season, Hulbert signs a one-year deal with an option of an extra year and will work with his former Rovers coach, Chris Hargreaves at Yeovil Town.
A versatile forward, the 19-year-old played up front and on the wing last season, during his loan spells at Gloucester City and Hereford. Throughout his time in the National League North, Hulbert struck nine goals in 32 games.
The season prior, Hulbert enjoyed a loan spell in the Cymru Premier with Cardiff Metropolitan University, where he scored 14 goals in 23 games.
Commenting after his arrival was confirmed, Hulbert said; “I’m absolutely buzzing. It’s a move that’s been in the works for a little while, now that it’s all signed, I just can’t wait to start!”
Manager Hargreaves added; “Ollie is a young player with potential who is now ready to kick on. He will be a welcome addition to our squad.
“I know him well from our time at Rovers and look forward to working with him again.”
Welcome to Somerset, Ollie.
