Yeovil Town are delighted to announce the signing of Jordan Maguire-Drew from Grimsby Town.
Joining on an initial one-month loan deal, personal terms have been agreed for the player to sign on a permanent contract during the January transfer window, subject to the completion of a satisfactory medical.
An exciting winger, the 25-year old has two promotions from the National League under his belt, most recently with Grimsby last season, where he scored an 111th minute winner in the play-off final against Solihull Moors.
He was also part of the Leyton Orient side which was promoted from the National League as champions in 2019 and went on to become a key component in their side in League Two.
As a youngster, Maguire-Drew came through the academy system at Brighton & Hove Albion but made his name in the non-league ranks. His first loan spells proved prolific, with the winger hitting 6 goals in 8 league games for Worthing, before hitting 14 in 42 for Dagenham and Redbridge.
Commenting after arriving in Somerset, our new winger said; “I’m delighted to be here and looking forward to getting started.
“I know the style of play that the manager wants to play. Yeovil is a big club and it shouldn’t be where it is.”
