The 25-year-old has featured in the last four pre-season friendlies, including 90 minutes against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday.
Now an official Yeovil player having signed a two-year deal at Huish Park, the former Swansea City defender is ready to start the 2017/18 Sky Bet League Two season.
Speaking to YTFC.net, he said: “I can’t wait for it (the season) to start.
“Pre-season is good for getting games, seeing how everyone plays and what the manager wants but it’s all about the season so the sooner that starts the better.
“I’ve been here two weeks so it’s nice to get something sorted, I’ve settled in and can’t wait to get started soon.”
Alfei spent last season with Aberystwyth Town in the Welsh Premier Divison, but previously enjoyed EFL loan spells with Portsmouth, Northampton and Mansfield.
Now back in League Two, the right-back is targeting a regular spot as part of the Glovers back four.
“My goal and ambition is to play football and play as high as I can,” he said.
“I need to be playing regularly for a season at least, so that’s my plan.
“I want to get as many games as I can in a season; 40 plus for me. It’s important to stay injury free to maintain your performance and minutes on the pitch but a full season of full fixtures is what I’m aiming to get.”
