The Glovers head to Lincolnshire in good form after back-to-back wins which saw Cambridge United and Morecambe dispatched at Huish Park.
Looking to now take their good form on the road against an Imps side unbeaten in the league since Boxing Day, Town’s boss is looking for more of the same from his side.
“We’ve got nothing to lose,” he told iFollow Glovers. “They’ve probably got the biggest squad with the biggest budget and everyone expects them to get promoted.
“We have to make sure we go there and handle the arena – that’s probably the biggest thing when you go to Lincoln.
“The siren (which goes off during the game) you don’t normally get at the grounds and can cause a distraction but we’ve got to make sure the players focus on their own game and collectively, we come out of that place with a performance like on the last day of last season.”
Jordan Green’s first-half strike saw the green and whites lead at the halfway stage before eventually leaving Sincil Bank with a share of the spoils.
Targeting more of the same, Way is aware of what will need to be done by his side.
“We’ll need discipline in and out of possession, that will probably be the biggest thing.
“They’ll get off to a quick start so we have to be aware of that and make sure do our job. Every time I’ve gone to Lincoln over the years with teams I’ve either played in or that I’ve managed, it’s never been an easy place to go.
“We know we’ve got to do a job, remain strong with mental toughness and we’ll get through the game like we have the last two and they’ve ended very positively.”
