After reaching the Fourth Round and a glamour tie against Manchester United last season, Darren Way’s side will look to secure their progression from the opening stage once again.

Fresh from the 4-0 demolition of West Ham United Under-21s in the Checkatarde Trophy on Tuesday night Town will now look to avoid being on the end of a cup upset as the Hatters head to Somerset.

Shaun Donnellan, Enes Mahmutovic and Tom James were all on target in midweek and will be part of the squad for the visit of Jim Gannon’s side.

Olufela Olomola limped off but is fit for the weekend, whilst Town are still likely to be without Gary Warren, Jordan Green, Omar Sowunmi, Diallang Jaiyesimi, Korrey Henry and James Bailey due to injury.

The green and whites saw off Port Vale and higher league opposition in the form of Bradford City and Southend United in the competition last season at Huish Park and will look to continue their good cup form at home.

Stockport will make the trip south buoyed by back-to-back wins in their last two outings.

Striker Matthew Warburton scored a hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Chorley and will head to Yeovil as County’s top scorer with six goals.

Head-to-head
Saturday’s encounter will be the first meeting between the two sides since 2010.

The Glovers recorded a 3-1 win at Edgeley Park thanks to a Gavin Williams brace and Dean Bowditch strike to pick up all three points in League One.

Overall, County have two wins from the six meetings overall including the emphatic 5-0 FA Cup win in 2008.

Officials
David Rock will take charge of the cup tie at Huish Park.

Having overseen nine games in the National League so far in 2018/19, it will be his first visit to Huish Park since overseeing the cup clash with Solihull Moors in 2016, a game in which Kevin Dawson was sent off for Town.

On Saturday, he’ll be assisted by Thomas Harty and Christopher Husband with Scott Jackson acting as fourth official.
