The green and whites will be targeting a return to winning ways after slumping to a 3-1 defeat to Colchester United on Tuesday evening.
Tom James’ stunning free kick in the final minute of additional time was the only silver lining in an otherwise disappointing trip to Essex.
Managing to avoid any fresh injuries on the road, Town still boast an extensive injury list with up to eight players out.
Stuart Nelson, James Bailey, Francois Zoko, Wes McDonald, Alefe Santos, Diallang Jaiyesimi, Gary Warren and Omar Sowunmi have all been in the physio’s room and are unlikely to feature on Saturday.
Facing a Grecians side who currently lie second in the table and unbeaten since the start of September, Yeovil will be looking for the three points to lift themselves back into the play-off places.
Jayden Stockley has six goals so far this season, the second highest in the division, and will be the main threat for Exeter, a surprising threat will be that of right-back Pierce Sweeney, who has four goals to his name this season, the highest scoring defender in the division.
Head-to-head
Saturday afternoon’s clash will be the 18th time these two South West teams have met in all competitions.
Both teams won five games apiece with the games finishing as a draw on seven occasions.
Yeovil are undefeated against Exeter in the last six meetings, with Town winning last season’s home league clash 3-1. Goals from Jake Gray, Francois Zoko and Sam Surridge sealed all three points for Darren Way’s side.
In this season’s previous meeting in the Checkatrade Trophy at Huish Park the game was tied 0-0 with Exeter claiming the bonus point after winning the penalty shootout.
Officials
The man with the whistle on Saturday afternoon will be Ollie Yates.
It will be his second time overseeing a match involving the Glovers, the only prior was a 2-0 victory over Notts County in August 2016 at Huish Park.
Mr Yates will be assisted by Christopher Husband and Grant Taylor with Steven Plane acting as the fourth official.
