The green and whites make the lengthy trip to Carlisle United on Saturday looking to build on back-to-back draws at Huish Park in the last week.
Losing their early season form, Town will also be looking for a first win in Cumbria since 2011 but the Yeovil defender is adamant that wins will return sooner rather than later.
Speaking to iFollow Glovers, he said: “We started off really well, really positive and were getting good results. In recent weeks we’ve dropped off with performances and results but at the same time, we’re not really losing games.
“We’ve only lost four this season which if you look at it, is pretty good going.
“Even though we’ve had dips in form recently the confidence in the group is still really high and everything we’re doing off the pitch is right, so it’s only a matter of time until we get the wins going again and start pushing up the table.”
Facing a 660-mile round trip to Carlisle, James isn’t looking to use the journey as an excuse.
“It is a long trip,” he said. “but that’s no excuse. We’ve all done the trip before as well. As much as it’s not fun it’s got to be done and we’re all confident going up there to get the win.
“The journey is long but it gives us chance to do more preparation and we’ll be ready to go.”
