Clubs have until 11pm tonight to conclude their summer signings with the Glovers having already added 12 players to their ranks.
However, the Town boss admitted there could be further activity before the deadline.
“You can never say never.” Way told iFollow Glovers.
“I’m trying to make phone calls but it has to be the right player at the moment because the dressing room is very tight, very resilient and is a good group of lads.
“Do we need to be stronger? Yes. Is there more work to do? Yes. But I have to make sure that if I add to the group, that it’s the right personality and right character to keep the momentum that we’ve got at the moment going.”
Whilst Way could add further personnel to his squad, there are to be no outgoings at Huish Park.
Every outfield player has made an appearance in the opening six fixtures of the 2017/18 campaign, with the Yeovil manager believing every player will have a part to play as the season develops.
“I’m quite lucky in that I want all of the players that we’ve got at this football club,” he said.
“I want them to stay and I believe in every single player we’ve got right now.
“One or two have had more opportunities than others, but I’ve spoken to those players and told them that their opportunity will come and that they’ll have a massive role and contribution to make this year.
“No one has suggested that they don’t want to be a part of it and at the same time, I’ve made one or two phone calls to strengthen so we’ll wait and see.”
