The Glovers head to Cheshire in a rich vein of form, having won their last three matches in all competitions.
League wins over Girmsby and Cambridge United were followed by Checkatrade Trophy advancement, as the Glovers now prepare for just their second away game of 2018.
Heading to Gresty Road, Way is more than aware of the potential threats of Crewe despite Yeovil’s comfortable 2-0 win in the reverse fixture.
“Technically they’ve got some very good players,” Way told iFollow Glovers. “Raynes at the back is very, very experienced and they play some good football.
I’m not too sure what the pitch is like in terms of can they get the ball down and play. All I know is that it’s very difficult in part two of all of our journeys with some of the conditions we have to play in.
“They’ll be desperate get one over on us after the home game we had against them, but we all know the team is getting stronger and stronger which is really pleasing.”
Rhys Browne and the now departed Fela Olomola scored in the reverse fixture victory, whilst Matty Dolan scored the winner in the 1-0 win at Crewe last season.
