The Glovers host the Lancashire outfit on Tuesday night (7.45pm) looking to make it four games unbeaten at home, with two wins and a draw so far this season.
Having scored five goals in their opening two matches at Huish Park, Town were frustratingly held to a goalless draw against the Robins.
However, the Yeovil boss is keen to take the positives going into the midweek fixture against the Shrimpers.
“We want to take the positives from the draw,” Way told YTFC.net. “Whilst we were a little bit frustrated and disappointed with our attacking display, defensively we did well.
“Artur Krysiak stood out after the appointment of a new goalkeeper coach last week so there were certainly positives to take.
“A few weeks ago we would’ve have lost that match but we came out of it with a point which keeps this run at home going.”
Jim Bentley’s Morecambe head to Somerset without a win in their last five, having most recently lost 2-0 on the road at Notts County.
With the Glovers themselves without a win in the last two, Way admits there could be changes to the starting eleven that has started the last three Sky Bet League Two encounters.
“There’s certainly competition for places at the moment and there will be one or two currently starting that will be looking over their shoulder because there’s quality and class on the bench.
“That’s what we wanted and what we’ve built so it’s up to those players to take their opportunity when it comes.
“The whole squad has put team success ahead of individual success so hopefully we can see that on the pitch.”
Tickets for the match remain on sale via the Huish Park ticket office either in person or by calling 01935 847888. Alternatively, you can buy online.
