Heading to the Hive looking to get back to winning ways in Sky Bet League Two, the Glovers visit Rossi Eames’ side who themselves are without a win in their last eight league outings.
Town have only travelled to take on the Bees twice since entering the EFL, coming away from the capital with two memorable results.
Harry Cornick’s last-gasp strike in April 2016 saw the Green and Whites record a dramatic 4-3 win, before Liam Shephard’s stoppage-time effort last season earned Yeovil a share of the spoils.
Speaking to iFollow Glovers, Way is happy to recall his previous visits to the Hive and insists his squad are full of confidence.
“The group that we’ve got is not a negative group, but I think there’s a little bit of clarity in certain aspects of our game that needs to be tidied up. but again, as I said, memories we got at
But we have some great memories against Barnet, certainly with Sheps (Liam Shephard) scoring and obviously Cornick’s goal – certainly the scenes after that game I’d say is the best I’ve had as a manager.”
Yeovil head to Barnet looking to record their second victory on the road, with the Town boss keen to remember their recent victory at Chesterfield.
“Not so long ago we played against Chesterfield and got a great result,” Way said. “That doesn’t feel too far away so it’s important to focus on the now and not keep going over previous results that we’ve had.
“Every game the players have away from home they gain experience.”
