Yeovil Town host Coventry City in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy this coming Tuesday night and you can be at Huish Park to cheer on the Glovers.
We have found three great reasons to come along to support the team and of course, they fit nicely into the acronym, JPT.
J is for Juniors.
Juniors – those under the age of 16 – are going to be admitted to the game for just £1!
100 tiny little pennies, enough to buy just four chocolate freddos, will see your junior admitted into any stand of Huish Park.
For the rest of the age groups, admission has also been reduced.
Adult tickets are just £10 while people who fall into the Senior or Young Person categories will be let in for just a fiver.
P is for Physiotherapy.
The injury list at Huish Park has been an increasing worry over the start of the season, but Tuesday night’s fixture could be the perfect time to reintroduce some of the injured party back into the first team.
The likes of Marc Laird, Alex Lacey, Omar Sowunmi, Ryan Dickson, Jack Compton and Jordan Gibbons have all been missing from squads recently but could be aiming to return to the starting line up for this fixture.
Some others like Wes Fogden and Shaun Jeffers have been involved a couple of times and could well be lacking match fitness; Tuesday’s game could be a great way of testing their fitness as well as pitting their wits against a League One side.
Paul Sturrock could finally get a chance to pick from the majority of his squad – and you wouldn’t want to miss that.
T is for Trophy.
This is where the actual acronym comes in handy.
Yeovil Town are into the second round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy and your support could see them take a step closer to Wembley.
Having come close in past (that last minute winner for Leyton Orient in 2012 still stings), the momentum and positive atmosphere that a cup run can create is something Paul Sturrock and his men will be looking to encourage.
Remember to keep your ticket stubs from the fixture, they could put you ahead of the rest should a big tie or dare we say it… a Wembley final… ever come around.
Yeovil Town host Coventry City and these two clubs have great cup pedigree, your support is needed to help the Glovers through to the next round.
