Rhys Murphy produced a stellar goalscoring display as Yeovil Town drew 3-3 with Wrexham in North-Wales.
Despite netting a hat-trick Murphy left the Racecourse Ground feeling disappointed with the result.
Speaking to YTTV, the striker said:
“I enjoy scoring goals, but I’m gutted with the chances missed; the one in the first half which I put over the bar after the cross from (James) Tilley, I just couldn’t get on top of it.”
“I’ve come off with mixed emotions, but the overriding one was how we’ve let the game slip and only got a point. That was the main feeling going into the dressing room.”
“We’ve just spoke, you come away from home and you get a point, then there’s plenty of positives to take.”
“So yeah, it was mixed emotions following this game, but I am happy to be scoring goals.”
