Yeovil Town Football Club are delighted to announce that they will be producing a limited edition commemorative book to celebrate ten years in the Football League.
The book, out in November, will be a very special publication to celebrate the successful decade and will feature many of the stars that helped that success along the way as it tells the story of life at Huish Park from 2003 to 2013.
It is hoped that Yeovil Town first team manager Gary Johnson will sign each copy of the book which will be strictly limited to a print run of just 500 copies. Written by lifelong fan and freelance writer Martin McConachie, and produced by official programme designers Hops Design, it will focus on the matches, the players, the managers and the personalities at the club and will include exclusive interviews with all four of the Glovers’ Football League managers.
Each of the ten Football League seasons will be covered in detail as will the ten biggest games along the way plus there will be special, select interviews with three of Yeovil’s marquee players of the decade. Famous faces from the world of football will also be getting involved as will some of Yeovil Town’s loan stars and there will also be personal testimonies from some of the Town’s fans.
There will also be the chance for Yeovil Town supporters to make a fantastic contribution to the unique book. Starting on Monday, February 4th and running for eight weeks, Glovers fans will be able to choose their own “Team of the Decade” to feature in the book.
Voting on each of the positions will run for one week only and we will showcase the final 11 players in 4-4-2 formation when the book is published later in the year.
There will be much, much more within the pages that will tickle and touch in equal measure and the book is sure to become a keepsake to those supporters keen to remember the first ten years of Yeovil Town in the Football League.
So stay in touch with the club’s official website, the Facebook page and the Twitter feed for details on how to vote in this exciting competition. You can also reserve your copy of the book by emailing book@ytfc.net
