Whilst everyone connected with the club, from the Board of Directors downwards, share the fans’ sadness at the loss of EFL status, we are determined to see the club bounce back and ensure that relegation is only the close of chapter one of Yeovil’s EFL history, not the end of our EFL story.
We are truly sorry that the season has ended in this way – you, our fans, deserve better and we will put things right. The club share this determination and will work over the summer to ensure the 2019/20 season is successful and rewards our fans with the type of results they deserve.
There are plenty of positives we can build on and we already have a definitive plan of how to ensure the problems of this season are not repeated. Our biggest plus point however is you – we are immensely thankful for the fantastic support shown by fans over this difficult season, particularly in the last few weeks when both home and away support has been phenomenal.
The club also thanks all the major fan groups – Green & Whites Supporters Club, Disabled Supporters Association (DSA), Glovers Trust, Cary Glovers, Junior Glovers and the Bridport Glovers for their support and their help, via the Supporters Alliance, will be pivotal to our plans to bounce back next season.
Also key to those plans will be our commercial partners, who we thank for their continued support and hope to have onboard as we enter this next chapter.
Whilst we understand and share the disappointment of fans regarding relegation, we hope the Green & White army will turn out in numbers for one last time this season as the team aim for a win against Carlisle. Bouncing back starts here and we need your support!
