“Firstly, can I say how much I enjoyed meeting and talking to those who attended the Meet and Greet event on Saturday before our friendly with Stratford. We had almost double the attendance we were anticipating and that kind of support is going to be vital this season. 

“I understand that this summer has been frustrating for supporters in terms of the level of uncertainty, but with manager Darren Sarll’s appointment and the excellent summer signings he’s made so far, the first team is looking healthier and healthier as each day passes. Those who were with us at Huish Park on Saturday would’ve seen glimpses of the football we can look forward to seeing once the season is properly up and running. 

“Whilst we wait for the takeover to be finalised in the next few weeks, I’d like to use this opportunity to make clear how important you, the supporters, will be for us as a club this coming season. 

“The Advanced Price phase season tickets are on sale until 4pm on Friday (12th July) and I can only urge you to make the most of the big price reduction and big savings and commit to us as we will to you. We want to build the community feel around this club and I want you all to be there with us from the beginning. 

“Everything is being put in place at the moment both on and off the pitch to bring back a winning mentality and I hope you can see the vision of what we want to do. I’m looking forward to engaging with you more in the near future and hope to see as many proud Glovers as possible back at Huish Park in 2019/20.”
