Doncaster Rovers are still on track for promotion straight back to League One following a 3-1 win over Crewe Alexandra.

The Hatters looked set for three points after Scott Cuthbert’s opener but Akinfenwa sent a thumping header in at the back post following Johnny Mullins’ red card – Luton’s eighth of the season.

Exeter City cruised to victory with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Colchester United.

Reuben Reid was on target on 20 minutes before David Wheeler and Liam McAlinden wrapped up the scoring.

Elsewhere, Hartlepool United beat Stevenage at Victoria Park while Accrington Stanley held high-flying Carlisle United.

Leyton Orient v Morecambe, and Crawley Town v Portsmouth were postponed.
