We are delighted to announce the signing of Lewys Twamley from Merthyr Town, who joins us on a deal until the summer of 2026.

Lewys is a forward who is making a real name for himself at Merthyr Town, with 15 goals in 21 league appearances so far this season. His impressive form has caught the attention of several clubs, and it’s no surprise, given his eye for goal and consistent performances.

After making his debut for Newport County in 2020, Twamley spent time on loan at Salisbury and Pontypridd United before being released by Newport at the end of the 2022-23 season. He joined Merthyr Town in September 2023, where he quickly became one of the standout players.

Twamley has also represented Wales at youth level, earning caps for both the Under-18s and Under-19s. His combination of skill, work rate, and ability to find the back of the net makes him a player to watch as he continues to develop.
