Yeovil-born winger Josh Sims has signed a two-year deal with Yeovil Town.
The 27-year-old forward has been without a club since leaving Ross County at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Sims began his career at Southampton, progressing through the academy ranks. After impressing for the Under-23s, he made his first-team debut against Everton in 27th November 2016, assisting Charlie Austin’s match-winning goal in the first minute.
Sims made his Europa League debut for Southampton on 8th December in a 1–1 draw against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. He continued to feature for the first team into January, providing the decisive assist for Shane Long in a 1–0 away victory against Liverpool, which secured Southampton’s place in the 2017 EFL Cup final.
Following loan spells at Reading, New York Red Bulls, and Doncaster Rovers, Sims left St Mary’s and spent two seasons with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
