The Benin international, who spent the 2017/18 campaign with Blackpool in League One, impressed in Town’s pre-season friendly against Swansea City on Tuesday night to earn a deal.
Graduating through Bordeaux’s Academy the 22-year-old made his debut for the Girondins in the Europa League in 2013 before making his Ligue 1 bow the following year.
A spell with Paris Saint-Germain B followed, prior to a move to English football where he signed a two-year deal with Barnsley.
Making three Championship appearances for the Tykes at the start of 2016/17 D’Almeida’s season was cut short by a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Departing Oakwell at the end of the campaign, the Bordeaux-born midfielder moved west to join Blackpool at the start of last season where he finished up with 27 appearances for Gary Bowyer’s side.
Having secured D’Almeida’s services on a free transfer, Darren Way commented: “I feel very lucky to make this signing considering Sessi’s CV.
“He’s a box-to-box central midfield player who breaks up play and from what I’ve seen, he plays with steel, determination and is an all-round midfield player -something this football club has been missing.
“I’m now excited to see this player develop. Welcome to Yeovil, Sessi.”
