Yeovil Town Road Running Club will go the extra mile for charity on Friday (16th November) when a group of runners pound the pavements from Huish Park to Swindon Town.
Instead of taking the coach, train or car to the County Ground for Yeovil Town’s npower League One clash with the Robins on Saturday, November 17 approximately 30 fund-raisers will run the 80-mile trip in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the club’s Community Sports Trust.
Organised in conjunction with the Yeovil Town Road Running Club, who start weekly runs from the Glovers’ home, the event will be split into five-mile relays with participants completing at least one leg.
The runners are expect to leave Huish Park during the afternoon on Friday and expect to complete the challenge in time for the game.
