The events are:

Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle: a free, family-friendly, mass participation bike ride on closed roads through Westminster and the City of London.

Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix: junior, hand-cycle and professional women cyclists racing on closed roads in and around St James’s Park.

Traffic impacts on Saturday 3 August will be fairly light and will be in the central London area. 

The following river crossing will be closed to traffic, but open to pedestrians, on the day:

Southwark Bridge – closed from 04:00 to 18:00

Westminster Bridge – closed from04:00 to 18:00

Jamaica Road (both sides) between the junctions with Mill Street and Lower Road.

Queen Elizabeth Street eastbound (between the junctions with Tooley Street and Tower Bridge Road)

Southwark Bridge northbound

Southwark Bridge Road northbound (between the junctions with Southwark Street and Southwark Bridge)

Tower Bridge Road northbound (between the junctions with Tooley Street and Tower Bridge)
