Everyone at Yeovil Town is deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Colin Mountain.
Colin was a key person within the match day safety team, here and at the old Huish ground. He was a long standing steward and latterly based in the control room on match days where he was responsible for communication with all the match day stewards. Colin carried out this role for many years and has been a great supporter of the club for even longer.
His ability to draw a smile from all the staff at the club will be deeply missed by all, particularly by all the match day staff that worked with him for many years. A larger than life character, the control room will never be the same.
Chairman of the Supporters Alliance, Rich Rendell added to the condolence message by paying tribute, not only as a much loved person at Yeovil Town, but also as a cousin who would be much missed by all who knew him.
The club would like to send condolences to Colin’s family and friends at this time.
