The Glovers continued their unbeaten run with a 0-0 draw with Stevenage. The goalless draw made it eight clean sheets in nine games for Darren Way’s men.

Town made two changes from the starting eleven that defeated Newport County three days earlier. Leroy Lita was selected to make his first start for the Glovers in the place of Shaun Jeffers and midfielder Ben Tozer made a return in the place of Swansea City loanee Liam Shephard.

Within one minute of kick-off the home side could and should have opened the scoring. A mix up between Krysiak and Roberts saw the ball fall to winder Jake Mulraney on the edge of the area, and with the goal at is mercy he sent his shot high over the bar and over the stand.

Town started to grow into the game with Ryan Dickson forcing a number of corners with his surging runs from the left-back position.

On 16 minutes Town had claims for a penalty turned away by referee Mr Kinseley. Despite holding up play to have words with the players for shirt pulling, Mr Kinseley waved away claims for a penalty when Nathan Smith was having his shirt pulled at the back post.

At half time both managers made a change to their starting eleven. Darren Way exchanged Kevin Dawson for Marc Laird. Whilst the home side replaced Jake Mulraney with Chris Whelpdale.

With 70 minutes on the clock Tahvom Campbell cut in from the left wing to tee up Dolan. The former Hartlepool man cut back onto his left foot, but his shot curled wide of Jones’ goal.

Town made their final substitution of the match with just over 15 minutes remaining when Lita was replaced by Francois Zoko, who was making his return to action following a spell on the sidelines with a calf injury.

With just under ten minutes remaining sub Kevin Dawson beat his man Kennedy, who decided he couldn’t catch the midfielder so instead just kicked Dawson off the ball to stop him breaking away. Referee Kinseley deemed the tackle worth only a yellow, much to the surprise of the Town bench.
