Yeovil Town are delighted to confirm that Joe Quigley has signed a new contract at Huish Park, keeping him at the club until June 2023.
Joe, 24, signed for Town in October 2020, and last night scored his first hat-trick in green and white.
As confirmed in Darren Sarll’s post-match interview, the towering forward now looks forward to enjoying an extended spell in Somerset.
Speaking to BBC Somerset following the announcement, Joe said, “There was no doubt that I wanted to stay here. As soon as I spoke with the gaffer about it, I was on board.
“He’s (Sarll) been brilliant here, I absolutely love working with him and I love the lads here too.
“It ultimately comes down to the gaffer working with me, he’s spent a lot of hours with me over the time I’ve been here, it’s something I really appreciate and hopefully I’ll be able to repay him out on the pitch.”
Following the victory over Solihull Moors, Sarll confirmed the former Bournemouth man is in his plans going forward.
“We’re at a good point with Joe, it’s probably as good a time as ever to confirm that he’s with us next year.
“Obviously with the last couple of weeks we didn’t want to release anything disrespectfully.
“Joe is part of my long-term plans, and I thought he was great again tonight (against Solihull Moors).”
All at Yeovil Town would like to wish Joe all the best during his time at Huish Park.
