Yeovil Town are back in SkyBet League Two action this coming Saturday when the Glovers host Crawley Town at Huish Park with a 3pm kick off.
Darren Way is hoping that with a disappointing cup exit in the past the focus switches to the league and Football League survival.
Yeovil Town know that one win can see them into the safety of 22nd place or above, with just two points separating them from Dagenham just above the dotted line.
The draw against Carlisle may have ended in defeat via penalties, but the scores in open play have been positive along with the performances.
Turning that upturn in form into points is now the key and that starts on Saturday.
Yeovil have a couple of issues in their team to sort out ahead of the fixture with Darren Way having a bit of a headache in the centre of defence.
Darren Ward missed the Carlisle game with an injury and despite a positive prognosis from the medical staff, he may miss this Saturday’s game too.
His natural replacement, Alex Lacey, came in for the cup game but he will miss the Crawley fixture too after seeing red in the feisty midweek fixture.
He sits out the first of three games leaving Jakub Sokolik the only available central defender with Omar Sowunmi still out with injury.
Nathan Smith or Ben Tozer look like the main makeshift defender candidates.
That reshuffle might present either Kevin Dawson or Simon Gillett their first opportunity of league football in over a year.
The last time those two were on the same pitch, at the same time for a league game was the 22nd November 2014 – a 2-1 win over Notts County 424 days ago.
The other positive news is that Francois Zoko, the Glovers front man and stand in captain, has signed a new deal to stay at Huish Park until the end of the season, he is expected to keep his place up front on Saturday.
As for Crawley Town, they have a whole host of players fully familiar to Yeovil fans.
Glovers fans will welcome back Gavin Tomlin, Matt Harrold and Lewis Young to Huish Park but hoping to send them away with nothing.
Mark Yates’ small squad was stretched even further this week when first choice Goalkeeper Darryl Flahaven left the club after failing to agree a new deal.
Number 2, Callum Preston is poised to step in but Yates has made no secret of his desire to add another ‘keeper before the game.
Crawley’s form has been a bit up and down of late with the side unable to string a set of results together, they’ve won against Cambridge but came unstuck against Portsmouth and Notts County since the turn of the year.
Interestingly, Crawley’s away record puts them near the bottom of the “away form only” table and yet their home form would have them in a play-off spot if based on those games alone.
They have accumulated 34 points this season with just 11 of those coming on the road, home comfort is something Yeovil will be hoping to capitalise on.
Darren Way’s style of play has seen his team put out a number of high intensity performances recently, his new 4-3-3 formation has led to what some fans are calling some of the most exciting action they’ve seen at Huish Park in a while.
You don’t want to miss that, come down to Huish Park to cheer the lads on and help get the season back up and running.

Earlier this season Yeovil travelled to Crawley and pulled out a fantastic 1-0 away win.
The game saw Harry Cornick score the only goal of the game in which Ollie Bassett made history by becoming the youngest ever YTFC player in a Football League fixture.
The in last of the three meetings last season Yeovil came through as 2-1 winners.
Gozie Ugwu and AJ Leitch Smith scored two second half goals to secure a comeback win from behind.
Izale McCleod had given the Red Devils the lead in the first half, but Yeovil still managed to gain all three points in Terry Skiverton’s first game in charge of his second stint at the helm.
Yeovil also beat Crawley 1-0 in the FA Cup last season; a single Jordy Hiwula goal put the club on the road to facing Manchester United.
