Yeovil ended their five-match winless run with an emphatic win over Reading Under-23s in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday.

Darren Way’s side also ended their three-game sequence without scoring in style by scoring four goals.

Three of his forwards – Otis Khan, Francois Zoko and Omar Sowunmi – found the back of the net as the Glover progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.

The former is a doubt for tomorrow’s match against Wycombe after picking up an ankle injury on Tuesday.

Wycombe are unbeaten in their last 13 matches in all competitions and have won eight league games at Adams Park this season.

Forward Scott Kashket is in fine form with 13 goals in 16 appearances for the club and strike partner Adebayo Akinfenwa gives a physical edge to Gareth Ainsworth’s side.

Head-to-head

Yeovil have an excellent record against Wycombe, winning seven of ten matches between the clubs (D2 L1).

The Glovers have also never lost to the Chairboys at Adams Park (W3, D1).

Last time out, Way’s side picked up three points with a 1-0 win at Huish Park.

Ryan Hedges tapped home from close range after Matty Dolan’s long range effort came back off the post.

Referee

Robert Jones (Merseyside) will take charge of his 26th game of the season on Saturday, fresh from issuing two yellow cards in Mansfield Town’s win at Blackpool on January 2nd.

The Merseyside official has awarded 82 yellow cards so far this season, issuing two reds, and officiated Town’s 2-0 win over Walsall in the EFL Cup back in August.

Mr. Jones will be assisted by George Warren (London) and Adrian Waters (London) with Andrew Aylott (Bedfordshire) acting as fourth official.
