Marcel Lavinier spent his youth career playing for the Chelsea Academy from the age of 7 until 20 before then moving to Tottenham Hotspur’s youth system. With Spurs, Marcel went on to make a Europa League appearance as a second-half substitute for Matt Doherty with Spurs walking away as 4-0 winners over Wolfsberger AC in the round of 32 second leg tie. Further to this, Marcel has also made previous appearances for England at the U16 and U17 level with 5 appearances across both his spells for the young Three Lions. Lavinier joined Swindon Town in the summer of 2022, leaving the Premier League side and after making 23 appearances in the 22/23 season, he moved onto Forest Green Rovers. Marcel featured 25 times for Forest Green Rovers from August 2023 to March 2025, before signing with Yeovil Town FC on the 7th March 2025 on a deal with the Glovers until the end of the season.
