Jarvis was born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and signed his first-team contract with Basingstoke Town in May 2016 after progressing through their youth system.
On 31 August 2017, he joined Luton Town on a one-year deal with an option for a second year. He made his debut on 26 September 2017 as a late substitute in a 0–0 draw against Morecambe.
In December 2017, Jarvis was loaned to Boreham Wood for a month, making four appearances and scoring once. He was then loaned to Falkirk in January 2019 until the season's end, before being released by Luton.
He signed for Sutton United on 11 July 2019 and was later loaned to Hemel Hempstead Town in January 2020.
Jarvis joined Scunthorpe United on a two-year contract in August 2020 but was released at the end of the 2021–22 season.
On 1 July 2022, he signed with Torquay United. On 15 April 2023, he scored his second hat-trick of the season against York City, becoming the first Torquay player to do so twice in a season since Robin Stubbs in 1965–66.
On 14 June 2024, Jarvis signed a two-year deal with Yeovil Town.
