We can confirm the departure of Rhys Murphy to National League South side Dorking Wanderers following the expiration of his contract.

Having returned to Huish Park for a second spell at the start of the 2023/24 season, Rhys Murphy managed to net an impressive 15 goals in 30 appearances, including an important goal against Truro City on the night we gained promotion.

In his first spell, Rhys netted 34 goals in the 65 appearances he featured for the Glovers in seasons that were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This leaves Rhys Murphy with a tally of 49 goals in 95 games for the Glovers.
