Unlike last year, work on the Huish Park has started at the earliest possible moment this season.

As soon as the season’s last match, The High Holborn Shield match between Merriott Jets and East Coker Cockerels was over preparation were put in place culminating with tractors and specialist equipment taking the top surface of the pitch.

A new surface will then be sown with the finished pitch ready for action ahead of the first scheduled Pre-Season friendly next season in July
