On Wednesday afternoon, attacks in the Westminster area of London claimed innocent lives and injured many more.

Everyone associated with football is united in denouncing the mindless actions that have led to British citizens and tourists in our capital becoming victims, losing their lives or suffering unnecessary harm.

One of the victims PC Keith Palmer, was killed while on duty and special tribute must be paid to the emergency services who acted bravely and decisively in the aftermath.

We ask Town fans to respect and remember the victims through a period of silence which will begin and end on the referee’s whistle.
