The Middlesbrough loanee netted through the legs of keeper Ben Killip to get the Glovers off the mark before second-half strikes from Rhys Browne and Jake Gray wrapped up a resounding win at Huish Park.
Ex-Shildon attacker Wing’s strike was his second in as many Sky Bet League Two matches for Darren Way’s side and is hoping the victory will spur the Green and Whites on in the second half of the campaign.
He said “I’m really pleased with my goal but I’m happier to get three points and climb up the table because that’s the most important thing.
“It was an important goal from me to settle myself into the game and we went on to score another two which was pleasing. I don’t score many goals in the box so it was nice to get one!
“It was difficult to break them down as they sat in but we did well and pushed on.”
Wing added: “It was a massive three points after getting beat before Man U; hopefully we can build on it.
“I want to get as many games as I can and help Yeovil stay in the league. We’ve got a good squad who can go on to do better things.”
