Yeovil Town travel to Solihull Moors on Saturday afternoon for the first time since September 2019.
After a hard-fought victory over Boreham Wood last weekend, the Glovers will look to extend a winning run to three games.
Saturday’s hosts were defeated last time out against Dagenham & Redbridge and will be looking to bounce back against the Glovers.
Darren Sarll’s thoughts
Going into back-to-back fixtures against Solihull, the boss said:
“You always try and use the first fixture retrospectively so you can see where you can be better, we did that well against Notts County in the second game. You only work that hard when you’ve been beat in the first one though as you’re trying to find another way to win.
“At this time of the season it becomes very difficult as motivation levels differ depending on where the club is in the table.
“Largely it’s just about how you find yourself against the group of players you’re playing against on the day.”

Billy Sass-Davies has had his rolling loan contract extended until May meaning he can line-up for the Glovers against the Moors.
On the injury front, Sarll confirmed that Town came out of Saturday’s game with no fresh injuries. This has meant that Rhys Murphy has been able to complete a full week of training.
Alex Bradley is building his way back up to fitness slowly to avoid the reoccurrence of a previous injury.
A foot in the opposition camp
It’s been an indifferent season for the Moors, who despite play-off ambitions sit in a midtable position.
Managed on an interim basis by Mark Yates during his second spell at the club whilst his season as Stourbridge is suspended. Yates had very little time to get to grips at Stourbridge as just a month after being hired in February 2020, the country was placed into lockdown.
Now with the Moors once again, Yates is looking to steady the ship ahead of a new manager taking the reins next season.
Head-to-head
Since relegation to the National League, the Glovers are yet to lose to Solihull Moors. The most memorable encounter came in September 2019 as Luke Wilkinson stole the show, scoring the only goal of the game alongside playing the last 10 minutes in goal due to an injury to Liam O’Brien.
Our meeting in the FA Cup during the 2016/17 holds less fond memories as Solihull shocked the Football League Gloves on penalties.
