Fourth visit Fifth on Saturday (3pm) as Yeovil Town face Boreham Wood.
Without a win in five league games, Darren Sarll’s men face a stern test in Boreham Wood who are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions.
Victory could see Town return to third place, but a win for the hosts would see the Wood leapfrog the green and whites for fourth spot.
Head to head
Earlier this season, Boreham Wood held Town to a 1-1 draw, thanks to late heroics from former Glover Kabongo Tshimanga.
Despite Jimmy Smith first half volley, the Wood’s top scorer fired a stoppage time leveller for a share of the points.
Prior to this season, our last meeting with Boreham Wood was in 1997; this clash saw Town claim a 1-0 victory at home in front of 873 fans.
The Glovers have a strong defensive record against the Wood, having only ever conceded two goals against Saturday’s hosts.
Yeovil Town also hold a strong overall record against the Wood, in the six times we have met, the green and whites have won on three occasions, drew twice and lost once.
An emphatic victory for Yeovil came in November 1966 as Graham Kemp and a Jerry Gill double fired the then step-six side to a 3-0 victory.
Officials
Carl Brook will be the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon. This will be his fourth Yeovil Town match of the season, previously refereeing clashes with Hartlepool, Harrogate and Ebbsfleet.
Scott Williams and Steve Parameter will be linesman with Jim Paterson the fourth official.
